Social Emotional Skills

Occupational therapists at Crossroads help work on self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills, and decision making skills in order to help identify emotions, thoughts, interests, and values. Additionally, our OTs will help your child to maintain a sense of self-confidence, self-efficacy, and regulate their emotions/thoughts/behaviors across contexts. Addressing social-emotional skills can help your child cope with stress and manage impulses, in addition, empathize with others, maintaining relationships with others, and seeking help when needed to identify and solve problems.
