aylor earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University. She is credentialed through Illinois Early Intervention and holds a Professional Educator License (PEL) in the state of Illinois. Taylor has a passion for working with the pediatric population and has experience supporting infants, toddlers, school-age children, and their families across a variety of settings, including clinics, homes, schools, daycares, children’s hospitals, developmental clinics, and special education settings. She has experience supporting children with a wide range of communication needs. Taylor’s clinical interests include supporting expressive and receptive language development, articulation & phonology, emerging language skills and late talkers, shared attention and engagement, play skills, social communication, and pediatric feeding. Taylor supports communication through all modalities, including spoken language, signs, gestures, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She also enjoys supporting Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs).
Taylor values a child-led & family-centered approach to therapy by making sessions feel playful and incorporating parent coaching to embed communication development into daily routines. She especially enjoys building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships and celebrating each child’s growth and confidence along the way while helping children communicate and connect with their families. Taylor’s goal is for her clients to walk away from therapy feeling happy, supported, and confident.
