Sam attended The Ohio State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with minors in Developmental Psychology and Disability Studies. She received her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Sam was also able to use her doctoral experience to help create a client-centered goal setting protocol in a mental health setting and was even able to present a poster about it at the annual AOTA Conference. Sam has experience in pediatric care throughout the home, school, and clinic settings and has always enjoyed being able to blend mental health care with treating her clients at all age levels. She has a passion for working with challenges in sensory processing and emotional regulation in order to fully support her clients in all areas of their lives. She is also Early Intervention certified and has enjoyed being able to bring her client-centered interventions to her kids’ most natural environments. Outside of work, Sam enjoys hiking, running, reading, finding a good movie to watch, and spending time with her friends and family.
