Mia is a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist passionate about helping children develop confidence, independence, and functional skills through engaging and meaningful therapy. She utilizes play-based, individualized approaches to support growth across daily routines and environments. Mia has supported children with a diverse range of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, sensory processing differences, and other developmental, genetic, and neurological conditions. She believes therapy is most effective when it is child-centered, evidence-based, and developed in partnership with families to support each child’s unique strengths and everyday goals. Mia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development, with minors in Psychology and Occupational Therapy, from the University of Arizona, graduating with honors. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, graduating with high honors. Her education guides her holistic approach to care, influencing consideration of the emotional, social, and environmental factors that impact participation and development. Mia is known for creating a supportive and encouraging therapy environment where children feel comfortable, motivated, and proud of their progress. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys painting, reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
