Kayla Ross



Kayla is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has worked with the pediatric population throughout her career. She is experienced in providing services to children in the areas of expressive and receptive language, articulation, pragmatics, phonology, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She also has pediatric feeding experience.

Kayla holds her ASHA certification and has a Professional Educator License (PEL) in the state of Illinois. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Children’s Studies minor from Illinois State University. She received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Kayla values making therapy individualized to meet the specific needs of the child and their family. She prioritizes building relationships with children and their families to create a collaborative approach to therapy.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys running, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She is so excited to be joining Crossroads Speech Therapy!
