About

Katie received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and her Master’s degree from Northwestern University. She has experience with children of all ages through adulthood.

She is passionate about articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders. Katie also has experience with, fluency, social-pragmatic communication, autism, and Down syndrome. Through her broad array of learning, she works with AAC, gestalt language processors, feeding, and cleft lip/palate. She possesses a great deal of experience implementing a DIR/Floortime approach to therapy, feeding, and literacy groups, as well as evaluating, treating, and obtaining a variety of speech-generating devices for children who benefit from it.

In her free time, she loves walking along the lake, trying new restaurants, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
