Kaitlin received her bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation sciences with a minor in disability and human development from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She received her doctorate degree in occupational therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove. Kaitlin has a wide range of experience working with both children and adults with varying diagnoses. She is a disability rights advocate and uses her role to support the occupational rights of individuals with disabilities. Kaitlin focuses on evidence-based practice to deliver client-centered and family-oriented care. This care includes providing education to family and caregivers in order to promote the continuation of care. She is passionate about occupational therapy’s mission to facilitate participation in daily life. She is motivated to work with children and their families to promote their development and growth. In her free time, Kaitlin loves spending time with her family and friends, finding new recipes to cook or restaurants to visit, and she enjoys traveling to new destinations.
