Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Disability & Human Development from the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University. Her passion for supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities is deeply rooted in her upbringing, where she grew up with neurodivergent family members. This personal connection has shaped her commitment to promoting inclusion and ensuring equitable access for all.Julie’s approach to occupational therapy is profoundly collaborative. She works closely with her clients, harnessing their unique strengths to drive functional improvement. Her special interests lie in understanding the brain and neurophysiology, alongside a strong dedication to disability advocacy and allyship. Outside of her professional life, Julie enjoys a range of activities including reading, weight lifting, and exploring the outdoors with her dog, Piper.
