Emily Domabyl is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has experience working with toddlers, adolescents, teens, and their families. Emily has a passion for working with the pediatric population. She enjoys working with early language learners and supporting their development through play. Emily has experience providing therapy in multiple settings including clinics, daycares, schools, and her client’s homes.
Emily is experienced in providing treatment targeting expressive language, receptive language, social language, articulation, executive function, shared attention and engagement, and play skill development. Emily supports communication through all modalities and has developed communication skills via spoken language, sign language, gestures, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Emily also enjoys working with and supporting the language development of Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs). Emily’s goal is for her clients to walk away from therapy feeling happy, supported, and confident.
Emily holds her ASHA certification and is certified through Illinois Early Education. Emily received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Iowa and received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University.
