About

Emilie is a licensed speech-language pathologist. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Illinois State University and her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Illinois State University. Emilie holds her ASHA certification and has a Professional Educators License (PEL) in the state of Illinois. Emilie provides motivating therapy to target goals while creating a supportive yet independent therapy environment. Emilie values client autonomy and aims to instill confidence in her clients. Emilie has a wide range of experience working with children in the public school system, preschool and daycare-aged children, and elementary/middle school-aged children. She has found her passion for treating children that struggle with literacy and receptive/expressive language, are late talkers and have pragmatic language delays. In addition, Emilie has had a wide variety of experiences working with children with ASD, down syndrome, and other specific learning disabilities. In her spare time, Emilie enjoys spending time with her cat, and traveling with family and friends. She loves to travel and ski at new places during the winter months.
