About

Ellie is a full time speech and language pathologist and excited to be treating children in the Chicagoland area. She attended University of Illinois for undergraduate and graduate school. She has experience working with children of various ages and diagnoses including swallowing disorders, picky eaters, expressive/receptive language delays, phonological and articulation disorders, fluency disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She has gained experience in a variety of settings including clinics, schools, hospitals, and via tele-therapy. 
Ellie has gained specialized experience in feeding while work at the Carle Foundation Hospital treating infants and toddlers. During this time, she explored a broad range of treatment in diverse settings including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, inpatient and outpatient pediatric feeding, and feeding and language assessments as a part of a NICU Developmental Follow-Up Clinic.  
Ellie prioritizes developing strong relationships with children and families in order to increase motivation and facilitate positive therapy outcomes. She believes treatment should be individualized to each child, collaborative in nature to involve the entire family, and fun! In her spare time, Ellie enjoys being outside, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family.
