Dani is a full-time licensed speech-language pathologist based in the Chicagoland area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing from the University of Kansas, where she also minored in Spanish and Business, and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Vanderbilt University.
Dani has extensive experience working with children with complex pediatric feeding disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, speech sound disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs, fluency disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.
She is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed several specialized trainings and certifications, including:
- Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) – Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice
- Trainee, U.S. Department of Education Interdisciplinary Personnel Preparation to Serve Infants and Young Children with Autism
- Certification of Completion: FEES 2024 Instrumental Dysphagia Assessment Training – SA Swallowing Services
- Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile Student Training – Northern Speech Services
Dani values collaboration and communication with families and other clinicians to ensure truly patient-centered care. She believes that building strong relationships based on trust and rapport is essential to achieving meaningful outcomes for every child and family she serves.
Outside of work, Dani enjoys running, exploring new coffee shops, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She holds her ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Early Intervention credential in the State of Illinois.
