Angelica is a licensed speech-language pathologist who is passionate about working with children and adults. She has experience working with oral motor, articulation/phonology, early language, gestalt language processing, aphasia, gender-affirming voice, voice disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). She is a Natural Language Acquisition (NLA)–trained clinician through MeaningfulSpeech.
Angelica strives to build strong relationships with her clients and their families by utilizing an individualized, neurodiversity-affirming approach. Neurodivergent herself, she is passionate about creating an affirming atmosphere that supports meaningful growth.
Angelica specializes in evaluating for and obtaining AAC devices for non-speaking and minimally speaking individuals, as well as medically complex individuals or anyone who may benefit. She has experience with Tobii Dynavox, PRC-Saltillo, and other AAC programs.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Montevallo and her Master’s degree from Valdosta State University. In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her family, friends, and four pets.
