Elnaz Alimi

OTD
Occupational Therapist

About

Elnaz is a pediatric occupational therapist who has dedicated her life to helping children. She is passionate about her work and believes that every child deserves a chance to reach their full potential.

The best part of being an OT for her is the opportunity to serve our diverse community.

Elnaz earned her Bachelor’s, Master’s (from Iran), and Doctorate degrees (from the University of Illinois at Chicago) all in Occupational Therapy which made her knowledgeable in this field. She has a background working with Neurdeveloemtal and Intellectual Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorders, and Physical Disabilities. She served as an OT in outpatient, school, and Illinois Early Intervention settings. Having studied and practiced in two countries and cultures prepared her to be a culturally competent provider.

Outside of OT, Elnaz spends her time with her cat, Muffin, playing tennis, hiking, cooking, and volunteering as a Farsi language interpreter.
